Uniaxial Geogrid
Uniaxial geogrid is used to reinforce soil and increase its bearing capacity and tensile strength. It has a series of continuously arranged rigid or semi-rigid strip structures arranged in a mesh pattern.
1. Concentrated one-way strength
2.High tensile strength
3. Certain rigid structure
4.Good water permeability
5.Excellent chemical resistance
Uniaxial geogrid is a geomaterial made of high-strength materials such as polyester or polypropylene. It is a grid-like material with a rigid structure,
Material: PP/HDPE/PET
Tensile strength: determined by material
Features:
1. Unidirectional loading: Uniaxial geogrid mainly bears tensile force in one direction, has high stiffness and tensile strength, and can effectively increase the soil's bearing capacity in this direction;
2. Chemical corrosion resistance: Uniaxial geogrid has undergone special chemical treatment to withstand different water quality and soil conditions, and has the ability to resist ultraviolet radiation and acid and alkali resistance;
3. Good water permeability: The grid structure of the uniaxial geogrid has certain gaps, which can promote water drainage and moisture flow in the soil, and has good water permeability;
4. Heavy load performance: After certain design and reinforcement, uniaxial geogrid can withstand larger heavy loads and provide more stable soil support capabilities.
Application:
1. Roadbed reinforcement: Uniaxial geogrids can be used in roadbed projects such as highways and railways to reinforce and enhance the bearing capacity of the soil and avoid deformation and settlement of the roadbed;
2. Slope protection: Uniaxial geogrids can be used in slope protection projects to increase the anti-sliding ability of the soil and prevent soil erosion and slope collapse;
3. Surface enhancement: Uniaxial geogrid can be used in surface enhancement projects to improve the durability and load-bearing capacity of the road surface;
4. Soil and water conservation: Uniaxial geogrids can be used in water and soil conservation projects on river banks, bank slopes, beaches and other places to prevent water flow and soil erosion.
